Allianz’s corporate and industrial insurer, Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) Africa recently appointed Dianne Kirk as Regional Head of Liability succeeding Wolfram Schultz, who took up a role of Global Practice Group Leader: Heavy Industries and Manufacturing at AGCS in Cologne, Germany. Liability insurance protects a company’s assets and pay’s for obligations incurred should someone’s person be injured or property be damaged at your premises caused by you or your employees.
Dianne joined the insurer in July 2015 as Deputy Regional Head of Liability. In her expanded role, she is responsible for further developing and building the regional Liability portfolio especially through marketing of new liability products such as Crisis Management, which was launched towards the end of 2015.
Furthermore she will be closely aligning Liability with Business Development to successfully expand the business’ footprint on the continent. Before joining AGCS, Dianne gained a broad range of insurance industry experience in South Africa working as a Broker followed by 14 years specialising in Liability Insurance.
