Nobuhle Nkosi appointed AGCS Africa Head of Liability and Financial Lines

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) Africa announced that current Head of Financial Lines, Nobuhle Nkosi, has taken on an additional role of Head of Liability effective June 1, 2019. She takes over this responsibility from Storm Mhlambi who has taken a new role of Senior Liability Underwriter and Regional Practice Group Leader after relocating to Durban for personal reasons.

“I wish Nobuhle success in her expanded leadership role and would like to thank Storm for the significant role she played in building our Liability business since joining AGCS Africa in 2017. I am pleased that we are able to retain her expertise and knowledge while also allowing her to focus on her family through our flexible working policy,” says AGCS Africa CEO Thusang Mahlangu.

Nobuhle joined AGCS Africa in 2013 as a Senior Financial Lines Underwriter. She became the Head of Financial Lines in 2016. She has over 10 years of experience in technical and managerial roles in insurance and risk management from global insurers. Nobuhle holds a BCom Law qualification in Insurance and Risk Management from Wits University, an Associateship with the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA), a Post Graduate Diploma in General Management from Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) and is currently doing an MBA.
