Allianz Group’s specialist corporate insurer Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty® (AGCS) announced today that Hugo Reyes has been named Senior Underwriter, General Aviation, for North America reporting to David Watkins, Regional Head of General Aviation. Based in Colorado, Reyes is responsible for the underwriting of complex General Aviation risks and broker development and management.
Hugo joins Allianz with nearly two decades of experience. After graduating from Daniel Webster College with a degree in Aviation Management/Air-Traffic Control, he began his career with the U.S. Aviation Insurance Group (USAIG) as a claims representative; Hugo would then move on to hold a variety of positions within USAIG including, Underwriter and Assistant Vice President before joining Swiss Re, ultimately managing the West Coast office as Vice President.
