Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) appoints combined Head of Financial Institutions (FI) and Commercial Directors & Officers insurance (D&O) for London region

Terry FitzGerald has been appointed Head of a new combined Financial Institutions (FI) and Commercial D&O (MLC) team for AGCS’ London region. The change sees Terry take on overall responsibility for Financial Institutions in addition to his current responsibilities as Head of Commercial D&O liability insurance. Mr. FitzGerald will be responsible for the continued development and implementation of the combined FI and Management Liability Commercial (MLC) strategies and will report to AGCS Head of Financial Lines for the London Region, Kevin Northcott.

Terry FitzGerald joined AGCS in 2012 as Head of Commercial D&O, and has 13 years of market experience in various financial lines roles.  He has extensive experience in underwriting D&O, as well as being a specialist in Commercial Crime and Pension Trustee Liability insurance. He has already been a key contributor to the overall success of AGCS Financial Lines.

Terry takes over from Elke Vagenende, who has taken on the role of Head of Market Management, AGCS UK.
