Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) Strengthens Entertainment Team with Key Contingency Appointment in London

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has announced its entrance into the Contingency insurance segment with the appointment of Clare Dowling as Senior Underwriter in London. The appointment will enable AGCS to expand its focus on covering event cancellation, non-appearance, prize indemnity, contract bonus, over redemption and adverse weather risk for activities like film-making, an area in which AGCS is already well established. Ms. Dowling will report to London based, Regional Entertainment Head, Ian Mercer.

Ms. Dowling has nearly 10 years insurance experience having worked on a broad range of Contingency Insurance for companies including Markel International.

The appointments in London are part of a global expansion of the AGCS Entertainment Team which includes the recent appointments of: New York, USA based Wanda Phillips as Team Leader, Maryanne Aust, Executive Underwriter, Spyros Cuison, Executive Underwriter, Ryan McFadden, Senior Underwriter and Sydney, Australia based Regional Manager Entertainment, Damian Kerin, Cologne, Germany based Christina Mertens, Hamburg, Germany based Florian Sellckau and Paris, France based Entertainment Lead Underwriter, Sylvie Atrux-Tallau.
