Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), Allianz Group’s dedicated carrier for corporate & specialty insurance business, has appointed Tim McGain as Regional Unit London Head of Property starting in September. Based in London, he will report to Sinéad Browne, AGCS Board Member and Chief Regions & Markets Officer, with a reporting line into AGCS Global Head of Property, Thierry Portevin. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving profitable growth across AGCS’ Property portfolio in the UK, Ireland, Dubai, Russia and the Nordic Region.
Tim McGain has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry and joins AGCS from RSA where he held various positions since 2005. Most recently he was Group Property Leader, a role he held from 2015, where he was responsible for the leadership and direction of all commercial property business written by RSA. Tim returns to Allianz where he was previously a Senior Property Underwriter from 2000 to 2005.
