New Head of Marine and Energy Underwriting appointed at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty for the Mediterranean Region

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE, Allianz Group’s specialist carrier for corporate insurance business, announces the appointment of Elisabeth Pinquier as Head of Marine and Energy Underwriting for its Mediterranean region (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Greece, Malta, Cyprus and Maghreb).

She succeeds Baptiste Ossena, who will focus on the role of Global Product Leader Hull & Marine Liabilities.

Elisabeth Pinquier will report directly to Patrick Thiels Patrick Thiels, CEO of AGCS Mediterranean Region, and functionally to Simon Buxton, Global Head of Marine & Energy at AGCS. This appointment is effective from 1 January 2018.

Elisabeth Pinquier (35) has been working at AGCS SE CEO Office in Munich since 2014. She is currently heading it after having served as Senior Business Analyst for all lines of business globally.

She joined AGCS in 2011, where she held various positions: Property Underwriter France and then Global Senior Underwriting Portfolio Analyst Energy Onshore, where she was in charge of the portfolio analysis, NatCat exposure management and new products development.

Elisabeth Pinquier began her career in 2004 as Loss Adjuster before moving to FM Global in loss prevention and risk management for 5 years. She is a graduate of the École des Mines d'Alès (France).
